As soon as you hear the throbbing bottom end of Girl Ray's new single 'Give Me Your Love', it makes sense that Hot Chip's Al Doyle and Joe Goddard were involved. Beckoning sunnier times with glistening steel drums, bouncey synthesizers and off-kilter harmonies, the stonking 8-minute-plus tune is a pleasure to listen to from start to finish. The band explain: "With all the awfulness of 2020 in our heads - it was important to us that it sounded optimistic and hopeful; a song for future summers where people can dance and enjoy music together once again."
